  • Derrick Procell

    Vocals, harmonica, piano

    A native of Milwaukee, Derrick Procell started his professional career at age sixteen in Nashville. A triple-threat on vocals, piano and harmonica, Procell is a veteran of the Chicago nightclub scene where he has been the lead singer for many of Chicago’s top bands. His voice has been featured in TV and Radio commercials for Ford, McDonald’s Sears and Subway, as well as numerous TV shows such as Boston Legal, Criminal Minds and My Name is Earl. An award-winning songwriter as well as performer, Derricks music has been recorded by a variety of musicians such as the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and Melissa Manchester.

    “He’s an incredible guy to have in front of the band,” says nationally known band leader Bobby Schiff. “He has amazing energy and his singing stops people in their tracks. But he’s also a real pro who is easy to work with and really conscientious.”

  • Abigail Riccards

    Vocals, piano

    Since coming to New York in 2003, Abigail Riccards toured the Middle East, plaing a week tour in Yemen for the United States State Department. In 2004, Abigail was selected to be a semi-finalist in the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Voal Competition, where she competed at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. She has also won two Downbeat awards; the first for Outstanding Collegiate Vocalist in 2002 and the second in 2004 for Outstanding Collegiate Vocal jazz Group in which she was the lead singer.

    Abigail has played with renowned talents such as Mulgrew Miller, David Merkman, Dena DeRose, Carl Allen, Lonnie Plaxico, George Duke, Adam Kolker, Matt Wilson, Ben Alison, Steve LaSpina, Ron Horton and Michael Kanan. She has been the opening act for several jazz greats including Kenny Werner, Jean Toots Thielemans and Joe Lovano. A graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Abigail has sung in and around New York City, at such familiar venues that include Sweet Rythem, Smoke, the Kitano and Detour, and recently recorded her debut album.

    Abigail resides in Chicago, and frequently performs in Illinois and in New York City. She is also currently teaching private lessons and workshops throughout the country.

  • Dan Gillogly

    Piano and Voice

    A professional musician since college, Dan Gillogly spent many years learning his craft by playing with some of the best piano players in town. He spent 10 years as Music Director with The Second City, working and performing with a number of talented comedians such as Steve Carrel, Stephen Colbert, Scott Adsit, and Bonnie Hunt, to name just a few. Currently, Dan performs at many Chicago venues such as The Redhead Piano Bar, Chicago Symphony Hall, The Ritz Carlton, and the House of Blues. He has produced dueling piano shoes and solo performances for corporate clients, charity events and private parties all over the U.S. He has never met a microphone he didn’t like.
