Kyle Mann is a DJ and musician who has been performing around the Chicagoland area for over 10 years. His passion for music started at the early age of five learning classical, jazz, and classic pop/rock songs on piano and guitar, and evolved into producing and spinning dance and electronic music later in high school. He continued his musical studies throughout college where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Music and Business at Elmhurst College. His original music has been played on radio stations across the Midwest including Chicago’s WXRT 93.1 FM and WONC 89.1 FM, and he has DJ’d/performed at many weddings, private parties, clubs, and festivals including The Taste of Chicago, Roscoe Fest, 101.9 FM ‘The Mix’ Party In The Park, The Navy Pier Grand Ballroom, The Metro, and Lincoln Hall.
Vincent received his Bachelors of Arts in Jazz Studies from Elmhurst College where he studied guitar and audio engineering. It was in the EC audio engineering program that he first fell in love with music productions and began working with local artists, rappers and DJs in the studio. Vincent has toured the Midwest playing guitar and keyboards with various bands. He’s also traveled the Midwest and internationally as a DJ, performing for audiences ranging from night clubs and private events to ambassadors at the United Nations student conference at the University for Peace in Ciudad Colon, Costa Rica.
Vincent has created tons of personalized soundtracks for weddings, corporate, and charitable events over the years. Clients are blown away by his extensive musical knowledge and his exceptional skill at reading the vibe of a group and adjusting his playlist accordingly. They also appreciate how he’s able to keep the energy going all night with his exciting transitions between songs. Vincent approaches DJing with the nuance and technicality of a performer and producer, bringing a rare musicality to the mix informed by a true passion for a broad, eclectic body of music.
John received his bachelor’s degree in Music Composition and Jazz Studies from Elmhurst College in 2010. While at Elmhurst he was involved in many musical endeavors like playing trumpet with the Elmhurst College Jazz Band, playing drums with the Gretsch Electric Guitar Ensemble, composing for various ensembles and big bands, and private teaching. It was during his years at Elmhurst that he got involved with studio engineering and electronic music, broadening his musical tastes and techniques even further. Currently John is working as a Composer/Sound Designer, DJ, Drummer/Percussionist and Producer. You can see him perform as the drummer/singer for indie-rock trio Dozens, drummer with the Bethany Joy Quintet, or DJ at a wedding or house party. John’s eclectic musical tastes span from Bartók to Beyoncé, and he’s as comfortable spinning music for a party as he is performing at the Jazz Showcase.
Despite his young age, DJ and sound engineer Sean Brady has already worked with some hugely popular recording artists like Lupe Fiasco, Dierks Bentley, Reel Big Fish and more. Currently studying Live and Installed Audio Systems at Columbia College Chicago, Sean’s DJ skills are greatly enhanced by his vast musical knowledge and years as a guitarist. A fan of rock and alternative music, Sean also knows how to drop the beat and pack the floor with classics, hip-hop, top 40, & pop hits. DJ Sean keeps the crowd electrified all night long for memories that last a lifetime.
My lifelong love of music has led me to being a DJ and I have been blessed with a variety of memorable gigs. My musical knowledge runs deep and spans a broad variety of genres including old and new-school R&B, soul, funk, classic and contemporary jazz, 80’s pop and New Wave, and down-tempo electronica.
I also love emceeing at events, and I feel great when I’m able to read the crowd to create distinct moods and atmospheres that keep the dance floor filled. I believe the main reason we are here on Earth is to serve others, and I love to help my clients celebrate, using great music to create great memories.
